Okay, so here's the deal. I'm 5'5 and 113 lbs. What I really want is tone up a lot like Ciara in her Promise video. I think I'm clear on the workout part; however, the eating/diet part is kinda foggy. I can get away from junk food-easily. However, I cant and don't want to see myself giving up soul food. Is this possible? I'm really trying to achieve a defined six pack so I'm not sure what sort of food that I should count out.

i cant speak for other guys but IMO girls with six-packs are a turn off, 5'5 113 is pretty small to begin with. But to answer your question eat a lot of bananas and quit soda or any other carbonated junk and drink green tea.

Very possible, you see what most people don't understand is..
its not what you eat but how much you eat. It's all about moderation, keep that notion in mind and you'll be looking like ciara in no time.Good luck!!

you hella wrong dog, a woman w/ a nice cut body is sexy as hell.
have you had abs before? if not, then its going to be really hard to get them now. you can still eat whatever you want, just smaller portions. fitday is probably the best tool you can use to track your calories.
also if you want that thickness ciara got in her ass and thighs, you should be doing squats. when you add muscle to your body it burns off fat.

If I do squats, is my ass going to disappear?

I think I know what kind of six pack abs your talking about and I hate them too. I want the Victoria's Secret abs not the body building abs.

Getting toned abs is all about diet and BF% ( You probaly know this).....Diet is always the hardest control.Fried chicken and hot wings are like fukkin kryptonite for a brotha.....Anyway, have you ever tried to keep a cheat day on the weekends? That might help. Prepared snacks and meals during the week might help urges.....Good luck to ya!!

it also depends on your body shape. genetically i have a tummy and long skinny legs, so unless i kill myself with situps i will prob never have abs, it took a long time to accept that but in the end you just have to. my cousin on the other hand has the flattest stomach under the sun and big legs, she has victorias secret abs when she doesnt drink water in the morning but could never get rid of the bulk on her legs.
