My "highly anticipated" (:laugh:) review of Send Him Our Love by Frostbite...

I'm not crazy about it. The beat's pretty nice, but I don't think it fits the vibe of the song too well and I don't think it holds a candle to the original. I like the version on MM3 so much because of the mellow, retrospective, solemn vibe, and you definitely don't capture that. You turned it into more of a battle song. Nothing wrong with flipping an accapella, but I don't really think it works here. I knew it would be hard to try to recapture the sound of the original beat (because of the vocal sample), but you took a risk and it just doesn't work for me.

The beat by itself though, is pretty nice. I like the change-ups too.

I respect that

The reason I used this sample is cuz in the movie Reign Over Me, Adam Sandler listens to the song to deal with the death of his family...since Budden is talking about someone who died, I thought the sample was fitting...I wasn't really trying to recapture the sound of original beat...anywho, thanks for peepin and taking the time to do an in-depth review

First of all, I'd like to say that everyone did their thing nicely on this. So hats off to everyone that participated.

Damn, 7th King was getting greedy...3 remixes, damn...haha, just playin

Some of the tracks that I'm really feeling at the moment are Family Reunion, Ventilation and Roll Call

Seige, you made a banger with Roll Call :yes:

This whole album will stay in rotation for a while...good work folks

Props Tek. I haven't banged this in the whip yet so imma check it out and see what I can add to it. Lol you must love that dear dairy track, considerin this was your third remix to it. IMO this was one was your best of the three.
