I wrote this poem on a plane while leaving Los Angeles.
She's lost like me
But so beautiful and chic
She all smiles all day
But still has her mystique
My darling Lisa, you heal my pain
Captured by your sunshine smile
Forgettin in this world exists the rain
But our love for now is from afar
I'll be home soon, to become a star
Till then you must weep, I cover my tears
Behind sun soaked locs, I hide my fears
I hear her callin, as I drift further away
She begs me reconsider, she begs me to stay
Darling I must go, leave your warm embrace
But i'll come home, I know this is my place
Yet you still call, from the hills to the coast
I go home to a bureaucrat type wife, but I love you most
Kiss me one last time, kiss as warm as the morning sun
Enchant me with your eyes, sultry like the night skyline
Blow on my skin, cool as a late ocean breeze
So I can remember your beauty
So I can remember your pain
So I may soon come home
To the one I desire, till we meet again
