I can't get into too much details but as you can see from this March schedule theres no room for Donnie's release. DK and Day 26 are already in a competitive time with Snoop and Rick Ross releasing albums on the rap genre.

Puff's master plan with these group was to package music, television and performance all in one with these 3 acts. Badboy always had strength in numbers as everyone knows their strongest run was with Faith, 112, Biggie, Mase, Puff and Total.

Not to compare these acts but the common component for the Making the band acts is they relate to eachother with the television theme, viewers and fans. Danity Kane fans will be persuade to support Day 26 and Donnie and vice versa.

With Donnie it was hard to find direction and a vibe with his album. Puff didnt want an answer to Justin Timberlake or to make a regular album thats been done before. They took more time exploring, demo-ing to find out what lane he'd fit best into.

As 7 mentioned in the episode theres a huge gap in between Justin and Robin Thicke that Donnie could fill. The end decision is Diddy's.

Right now there is no release date yet and they've got 5 songs right now that all could be the first single. Timing is going to be important so Donnie could be released in the spring, but with Elephant Man, Cassie and Mario Winans dropping album in between now and July it'll be hard to make him a priority unless he's bumped up.
