Outside of Snoop, Dr. Dre, and a handful of others Nas is one of the few that's still relevant on a commercial level. If Nas just made dope music nobody would care so I don't blame him for doing his thing.

If Nas went back to Nasty Nas he'd be on MySpace asking his fans if they still loved him. He's still making music that I enjoy and making cats think, and he's selling records doing it. HHID is almost plat and he didn't even have a smash hit single. People don't give Nas enough respect for being a businessman, while his peers are selling 15,000 units Nas is still doing big numbers. And as long as he's making good music I'm going to keep buying it gimmick or not.
