View Full Version : Contemplating Going on to another Program

I have been doing the www.Crossfit.com routine for about 6 months now and am ready for a change in programs. I will ultimately go back to crossfit. But I need a break as I think my CNS is breaking down and I am becoming more fatigued. What are some good programs out there that you guy's would recommend. I need it to be no more then 3 days lifting per week. And include some Bodyweight and Cardio things in it as well. Maybe in a S. Tues. Thursday type of scheme. I also prefer full body routines as opposed to split body part.

why not try that p90x routine? i don't know about crossfit so i don't know if they're similar or not.

i do a bastardization of Bill Starr's 5x5 program outlined here (http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm)

Its a great full body workout thats focused on compound lifts and adding overall body strength. I do cardio on off days though...so I'm in the gym 6 hours a week.
