I havent heard Skyzoo, so i cant speak on him, but Sai is capable of being the GOAT. Very capable. Unfortunately he's got the Nas curse if you will. Nas will always have Illmatic hanging over his head, along with all the embarrising non-music related things that have compiled over the years. Not to mention every Nas album is promoted like the 2nd coming of Christ, and we're always left somewhat dissapointed.

Sai the same way, he dropped those first two mixtapes, expecially Warning Shots, and we thought we had a winner. Since then we been waiting for this supposedly done album, which seems highly unlikely to be released anytime soon, if not ever. Throw into the mix the embarrising things that have transpired throughout his limited career such as the bottle over the head incident, the reckless interviews, the Prodigy incident that resulted in him riding his security guard like a middle schooler, and the retirement talk which made no sense because he's never actually had a career to retire from. I'm starting to just give up on him, kinda of like I gave up on Nas ever truly doing a true follow up to Illmatic or even It Was Written for that matter. I heard that Sai's album was going to leak on February the 29th, and the Nas/Primo mixtape is going to leak on March the 32nd.:rolleyes:

If anyone hasn't heard on him commenting then they are doing exactly what I did, I wrote him off on name alone until I got the joint with 9th Wonder, shyt is fukkin FIRE. He is a pretty dope mc and his beats like someone said are consistently better than Sai's. I don't get the hype about Sai, he is cool but dude is not that damn nice in all reality, just another good rapper to come out and never drop an LP.

True to a sense, but Nas atleast has those albums released and had success in this game for years sales wise with those plat albums, Sai? Nothing at all. He needs to get an Illmatic first before we even think of him being a contender for GOAT, which I don't think he is capable of.

He seems way more focused and puts out more consistent quality music than Sai ( Who I thought was the best underground nygga in the game a couple years ago)....

I might have used the GOAT term inappropriately. I been coming in The Spot too much, got me saying GOAT like these 90's babies use it, lost its meaning. Sai to me had so much potential. He gave me the same exact feeling I had when I first heard 50's Guess Who's Back Mixtape. It was winter when I heard that 50 joint, and I got the chills, and it wasnt because it was winter. That music was just dope, so refreshing. When I heard that Warning Shots mix, and I cant remember the name to the follow up to it, but the one Scram Jones joint, where they sample The Police "little black spot on the sun today." Man that was beautiful. I had downloaded that, and just copped that Tek(smif Wessun) mixtape, and I was good last fall. But now............Sai aint even an after thought to me.

That's where my Nas analogy kicks in it, in that the potential is there, so much potential, and in Nas case we have Illmatic,Stillmatic, It Was Written, I Am, God's Son, Lost Tapes, numerous verses, etc.. so that we always look back and go Nas was that dude, maybe well get that Nas back soon. Where as like you pointed out with Sai, it's like i see a glimpse of what's possible, but it will never be realized due to circumstances out of our hands. I'm gonna have to give Skyzoo a listen though. I never heard of dude till this thread, somebody ZShare something while I'm here at work.
