I'm taking my first step to next level producing

Musicians. I'm hiring musicians now. I don't think I can call myself a true producer until I take that step. When you look at the hot producers now. They have some musicians replaying samples or at least creating hot music with some real instrumentation.
Have you all thought about this step??

Right now we have 3 producers for the soul sample battle 2 for the compose battle o for the club beat battle..

either one is good for me for the battle it doesnt matter.. and canneverbeme make sure you have chemistry with these musicians.. you jus dont wanna pay for musicians you cant work with.. Out of all the musicians i kno theres one piano player thats incredible that if I lay down a loop i can leave and he can finish the rest no problem and its exactly what it may need.. Make sure u can find one of them.. and thay way maybe yall can form a production squad and you dont have to pay them yall can get paid together.. ya dig me?. but ur definitely headed in the right direction fasho..

Yeah I have I wanted to learn to play the piano to operate a keyboard I played the violin from 5th grade til I graduated from high school and the drums

another drummer in this piece. word. Been playing since 5th grade and even did the drumline thing in college at U of North Texas. I was a musician before I even really knew about this thang called hip hop.
But I had take paino lesson as part of major even in the percussion department so I learned a lot of theory that way. Being a snare concentration my whole playing career, it was a big step for me learning harmonic melodics, and ionians or the circle of fifths and sh!t. lol I recommend just pickin up a piano lesson book at a sheet music store and going in.

Being a violinist I know you know your way around a keyboard for tuning purpose if anything. :yes:

My dad is ridiculous on the piano and I've had him drop something on one of my beats. Looking back, I wish I would've had him teach me how to play when I was younger cuz it would be quite an advantage right now.
