any album released before that sounds like sh1t now. did the engineers even mix any songs at all :laugh::laugh:. the quality is low as hell, you cant even hear any of this sh1t loud on ur ipod.sonically the music is trash before 1997.

i remember me and my n1ggas lined up outside tower records the day mase "harlem world" came out in late '97. That was the first hip hop cd i copped, b. sh1t was brilliant, and definitely raised the bar as far as music goes. any cd released before that sounds like it was recorded in a dusty basement and cant even be listened to now. everything from wu tang to tribe called quest. not even listenable due to the poor quality
