I'm thinking about taking creatine for the first time. Why do you take so many supplements...is that normal? I just want to take one pill, not a bunch of stuff.

it's not a lot compared to what some people take

you can take creatine in pill form, if that's all you want to take

Aren't you taking too much creatine? NoEx has creatine in it already no?

One thing you should add is omega fat pills. And amino acids. Ones your protein drink doesn't have. Probably BCAAs.

yeah no explode already contains creatine so it sounds like you're takin too much.

you're probably not going to hurt yourself...you'll just pee out the excess but its a waste of money.

i just take creatine and protein for weight lifting supplements.

i take mutlivitamins, and fish oil....something everyone should take.

You only need 3 basic supplements:
Pre-workout
Post-workout
Protein powder

Pre-workout supplements usually contain minor amounts of creatine and high amounts of nitric-oxide (NO) along with high amounts of vitamin b and other BCAAs. These are energy boosters. They're made to supply you with a rush of energy for your workout to get that extra rep and push up that extra weight. Also helps focus a lot and reduces downtime. Products like No-Xplode, NANO Vapor etc are pre-workout. Just note you'll need to cycle these products, as in 2months on 1month off. Their effects dimmer after long use.

Post-workout supplements are creatine supplements. This is the best time take them. After workouts your muscles are starving and shoving a creatine supplement is the ideal. Creatine helps rebuild and recover.

Protein shakes you should take 30-45mins after your post-workout supplement and whenever you can't fit a meal in. I normally take a shake in the morning and after my post workout drink.

Stick with powder supplements.

You grow when you rest, not in the gym.

With that said eat right, rest right, make water your best friend.

If you don't drink enough water, yes.

yeah its possible, just rare. i said "probably not going to hurt yourself..." since the amount he's taking is so little.

i actually know of a guy that was taking 30-40g of creatine daily. after about 6 months or so he started to have some serious kidney problems and went to the hospital. he got out in a few days and it was all good.

its important to remember when taking some of these supplements you're making your organs work a little harder then they normally do to break down all that **** so its your job to make it easier on your organs. best way to do this is by drinking more water. i usually get 1.5 to 2 gallons a day,

I wouldn't take NO Explode if I were you.....those pre workout NO drinks are a waste....they get your heart racing like 1000x a minute and you feel all lightheaded and dizzy and ****.....

All you need is creatine (preferably powder form), whey protein, a multivitamin (i like GNC Megamen Sport) and Fish Oil supplements.....

NO xplode has decent side effects. Not only do you get your engergy level up but you get some serious hard-ons. I use NO Xplode on heavy lifting days, I drink Muscle Milk shakes before and after work outs, only Amino Acid I take is L-Arginine, about 4000 mgs per day, a multivitamin like Centrum
