no need to defend it or pretend it
ever was more than the miced man intended
descended from fallen angels, I extend that
if time was money, I'd stack instead of spend it
inching toward abject, tho if you could inherit it
I'd slit my throat now & leave my daughter parentless
as she deserves the days more than I do
tho absent, I ain't there to deny her idols
that don't deserve their pedestal, I'd bet I'd still
escape hell and possess a mess to toss a pistol
in the face of anyone who dare misdirect her
not even God supplant my role as her protector
but the more she grows, the more the world infects her
with or without me there to lecture
so I set out to destroy everything that could corrupt her
slaughter the globe until the last vein ruptures
and as I drop the victim and gaze out through the caked blood
I see the dead world that I left the one I loved
all alone, seems like I forgot where I came from
seems I aint remembered my ancestors aim from
skyside to being damned to the planet
hit and their unsureness expanded
from the second omnipresence abandoned
gave birth to the unpredicted & random
so, over attempts at destroying or preventing every eventuality
embrace today as the only actuality
