.....this is on a tredmill, but can be on a track too.

Like....it's hard to explain. (I keep a 2lb weight in each hand too - that's all I got)

Should I run at like 60-70% for say 10-15 min and then switch it up to like 80% til I fall out?

or should I strive for a longer nice pace jog for a good 20 min?

The only sport I play is Bbal (until I join a baseball:inlove: league this summer), so I'm used to running at that type of pace for a good game til 15 (1's and 2's)....:king: whatever, off topic.

Point is.....what's the healthiest way to run? Fastest results? I wouldnt mind being faster too. What incline? Thanks.

The quickest way, I'd probably say would be HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training

It's a lot more intense and a shorter workout. You'd start out slow, get warmed up, then you'd go all out for maybe 2 minutes, then bring it back down a little bit for 3 or so minutes, then go all out again for another 2 and repeat the process until you're finished.

As you go along you'll be able to go at your maximum pace for a little longer.

Personally, I prefer to just go for a longer workout at an even pace.

Co Sign Post 2.

I like to run at a good steady pace but if you run at a high level for a shorter amount of time you will burn more fat

Depends on my mood.

But usually I jog at a steady pace for 5 minutes, go all out for 3 minutes at a higher speed/incline and then repeat process 3/4 times.

Damn, I been slacking with my running recently. Gonna get back on my grind in Feb, summer ain't that far away
