Waiting for a change when will this day come?
Heart is broke it was a change that wasn't much fun
Previous owner set sail and went on their merry way
Grabbed a new heart staked claim to a new sunny day
While mine was in pieces beating by itself in dismay
Left for dead emotional state in very much disarray
But my wounded muscle still beats loud and clear
As I wait for a life change I am a man without fear
