so i been doing alot of running lately.. but now im starting to have pain in both of my knee caps. its to the point where its really hard to walk up and down a flight of steps. any ideas on how i can treat this pain?

it's advised to stop the running until the pain goes away. to speed up the process do things such as stretching your knees, icing, and using anti inflammatory meds such as Tylenol or motrin.

update..
it took a whole month for the knee pains to go away.. but i did it while still running and exercising.. good to be 100 percent :king:

exercising is ok, but running on it...im sure wont help in the long run.
Did you get it checked out?

how often do problems just magically disappear on their own, without even acknowledging the source?
dont be surprised if your pain comes back.

not really, this is the first time it happened in my life.. still feel a little pain but nothing like a month ago.. and clicking noise when im bending my knees went away also.. knee pains are a killer :thumbsdow

Could be patellofemoral syndrome.....where weak quads and glutes contribute to knee and patella pain
google that....

Did you get physical therapy and a cortisone shot?
