Anyone heard anything else about 'Coldest Winter Ever' becoming a movie?

Can anyone help me please?? I heard that HBO, Jada Pinkett Smith and Souljah Story, Inc. were to make a movie version of Sister Souljah's "The Coldest Winter Ever" (as an HBO film) It's an excellent book and I think a movie would be great!!
Personally I think the part of Winter should be played by Kyla Pratt from One on One or Christina Milian!!
