:hmm: Don't ever use the term skipping rope in your life. It's good stationary cardio though my dude.

Yeah I "skip" nearly every day. Its an absolutely brilliant exercise, Improves not only your fitness, but your entire body co-ordination aswell as reflexes. I would recommend it to anyone. Its also a lot tougher then you may expect. As Im sure you can testify for

Its all I do. I use it at my gym as a way to break the ice with people, They see me wiling out with the jumprope and end up talking to me.
I also run around in different directions with it as well as the normal tricks. Other trainers come in and talk shyt "showoff" they  treadmill ass nikkas
I had to take breaks, I do it every other day, cuz my shins will feel like shyt if its too frequent

well i suck but i managed to get up to 30 revs without stopping.how many a minute im not sure but as soon as i get caught in the rope i would just fix it and start again right away to keep my heart rate up.
i did this yesterday about 6pm and i still feel it to the point im not even gonna attempt to work out today lol
you need to be getting at least 125 revolutions per minute to get a good workout.
and 25 minutes is too damn long to be jumping rope, you overtraining.
go 3 minutes then rest for a minute and start at 2 rounds and work your way up to 5 or 6 at the most
let one foot go flat and the other stay on its toes then switch up everytime the rope go under your foot so you get some rhythm
and jumping rope basically works out your whole body.shoulders, arms, legs, abs, chest and back

If he's stoppin' every 30 revolutions or so to reset than he probably doesn't have the timing down yet.
Once he gets the rhythm down, he should have no problem gettin' at least 2 revs per second or 120/minute or so.
I want to get up to 180 revs per minute.
Guess I should quit typin' and do more jumpin'.

its the best cardio exercise you can do due to the fact that it gets your heart rate going very quickly Logic been slacking with the jump rope need to get back on that grind
