I'm about to read Charisma by Steven Barnes

Yep! I'm on a science fiction kick and this book was suggested by a friend. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but I will by the end of the week since I reserved it at the Library...

I've always been a fan of stories where the main characters are mutants or scientific experiminents. I love vampire and so called "night dwellers" characters as well. So if this book catches my interest I prob. won't be able to put it down...

I guess that's why I loved the vampire chronicles so much! :)

i want them to reveal more about why these children have these strange sexual dreams. Like from reading the inside cover, the experiment was supposed to make them smart, successful or whatever. so why are there talks about sexual abuse? either way, its interesting so i guess i just have to read further.


steven barnes imagery is very nice though. when Tanesha Evans got hit by the bike in the prologue, it was :eek:

hmmm that's a good question I haven read the reason why yet I'm reading it right now actually....

yeah I could def picture it happening and I'm already thinking about why they killed her. I'm noticing similarities between her and patrick. did you read the 9 principles at the beginning of the book. they are going in order through the book ~ very interesting!
