Jay-z is so much better than nas it's ridiculous, Jay is a much better song maker, to make a good song you must have lyrics, good beat, and a nice hook, and nas only delivers on the lyrics and nothing else.

:laugh:People act like those albums he released when he was dropping an album every year didn't suck. Everyone was dissing those albums. Dude was making cake 50 Cent type albums. Dude has 4 average to decent albums in between reasonable doubt and blue print and 2 duds post blueprint. I'm not knocking dude's status as one of the all time greats but if you compare his discography with other ATGs who never dropped wack albums............you get the point

"some of my rhyme patterns still surround Saturn". Rakim is my all time favorite rapper, and I love all the 80's greats. You make some good points from what I could decipher, but trying to use those guys to discredit Jay Z is silly man. It's hard even comparing emcees from different eras because the rap game has changed so much over the years. Jay is 1 of the greats of his era and Rakim and KRS are greats from the greatest age of HipHop ever. Music is subjective. I've even heard KRS call Jay the greatest of all time, KGR said the same thing.
