R&B turned me off completely a few years ago and I only listen sporadically nowadays... cant remember last time I bought an album.

Nevertheless I dont want to get caught sleeping, and its come to my attention that I missed some good stuff this year.

Have to say that I have heard alot of stuff that DID not impress me. For instance I didnt understand the hype around Alicia Keys album AT ALL. It sounded hella bland, after hearing it I couldnt remember really liking a single cut. The best part to me was a brief interlude called "Prelude To A Kiss" (no, sadly, not a take on the old Jazz standard)

So put me up, what is actually worth listening to that came out this year, R&B wise???

The Jill Scott was probably the only r&b album I even heard this year.
