View Full Version : I've never read a real book from front to back my whole life. Recommend one please

im ashamed to admit ive neve rread a real book from front to back... never been a book reading kind of person. not only that but i think i have ADD and my attention span is too short
since ill have a lot of free time next semester i plan on reading something, starting out with the Art of War and 48 laws of Power. out of everything you've read, whats the one book you would recommend?

If you've never read any book cover to cover... Art of War is probably a pretty terrible choice to start with :laugh:

and i said real book not no children's book

No. It's a real book. I've read it and got a few things out of it, but I found it terribly boring. If you have trouble getting through books, I seriously doubt that you'll be able to sit and just read this for hours.

well actually the reason i chose it is because i find it interesting. Its concise, well-written and straight to the point, and can be applied to everyday life i.e. business, at work, or conflicts

i reccomend you pick up Marching Powder by Rusty Young.

The Giver...I read it in middle school but still it's a good book and it's doesn't have that many pages.....lol
