they're eh, they had 2 3/5 mic albums, that had some listenable music on them. when i say listenable, i mean like you would play them at a club, party or something. thei music wasn't good enough to play in your car or headphones though...
"my way" is my joint though...
those guys did have some good technicians (mixers, producers, engineers, programmers) putting their music together though. you should give them that..

truth be told they were better than people will give them credit for but they were really really corny, and made really contrived music that was supposed to be "hardcore" but was actually really idiotic.
They basically made the theme music for idiotic whiteboys who wanted be rebellious, but then Eminem came along and took that fanbase from them

haha, but they used to have the crowds going crazy. I think a person died in their moshpit once.
I think the only other group to have that happen was Candiria (and probably Michael Jackson).
R.I.P. to the fallen headbangers.

Thy started off hard (no homo) but then once mainstream hit, they changed their tune completely. I thought Significant Other was a decent album with good replay value, Chocolate Starfish however was mostly filler with only 2-3 songs that were cool.
But what Eminem did to them on "Girls" ruined them, plus Fred Durst with Christina = laughable.

Hybrid Theory was good, but I generally hate rap/rock combos (RATM another exception here). I thought Reanimation was nice twist to stuff for it being a remix CD, and I used to listen to it before my flag football games at the park (LOL here). I didn't dig much into Meteora, have to download it and give it another spin, and I never really checked for anything after. Minutes To Midnight I have no interest in, but might check it out for "librarical" reasons.
As for LB, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. No interest or general singles that I liked so I can't comment on the music. From what I heard, uninteresting.

It says a lot about the sad state of rock today that people look back at Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit and say, "That sht was pretty awesome."
Is it time to look fondly back at the 90's already?

I saw them live around this time almost 10 years ago! I'm not going to lie, they put on a great live show. But Freddy D's ego killed that group. Only 2 good albums (3 dolla Bill y'all and Significant other) and that was it. By the time Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water came out that was it for them.
