Still not very knowledgeable on ambient - I know Aphex Twin's early work, and Brian Eno's ambient work. Both are excellent.

theres alot of chillout music thats dope....if u get a chance,check out Ultimate Chillout 2005...its on every torrent site....Sadly limewire and other popular P2P programs have little amounts of ambient/chillout music...

you just named the two best producers who ever tried ambient music... :yes:
Other than that, I'd suggest checking out Harold Budd, Autechre's "Amber" album, and some old Orb stuff...

A friend put me on to some Chillout and Euphoric Trance in 2005. He made me these two really good Data cd's filled with live club performances. I never bothered to look for more stuff though. Maybe I should. Metal and Rap just making my anger worse.
