Get Back was a good album.....wasnt great, wasnt terrible. I dont think 9th would have made a difference. The other producers on the album pretty much stuck to that LB sound

After hearing 9th wasn't on it, I didn't even bother listening to it.

No matter how much you splice it and dice it, 9th was the proverbial glue that held LB together.

Yeah, Little Brother lost without Ninth. Intead of having the indisputably best record of the year, they only had the second best record of the year.

nope. no 9th kept them from being stagnant..his one beat was good enough, tho 2 would have been acceptable.

i just dont think they have that chemistry anymore and im glad they reached out into other areas for production, the album is great. and its a perfect followup to the first 2.

why wouldnt it be safe to say? what could possibly be unsafe about you saying this? the f*ck are you talkin about?

I would have to say no. Considering the circumstances that would be a dangerous statement to make right now. High risk high vulnerability. Diseases can be contracted by thinking and speaking the wrong opinion when and where no safety exists. Thats just one example of how badly things can turn by saying something at the wrong time or place. Um, I would advise that you wait atleast 3 or 4 more weeks. I'm thinking late Jan would be the perfect time to say it.

I'm glad you came here first before taking this to the public, we could have had a real situation on our hands. Way to think it through.

You Dudes Are Being Stupid And Looking At Something Different Than It Should Be Looked At

9th Is Wack Now. He Fell Off Himself

Getback Was Good If You Like Little Brother. It Kinda Showed That Little Brothers Lyrics Are Basic But Good Imo

I Hate This They Fell Off Shyt, They Sound The Same They Always Did You Guys Are Just Making Up Excuses To Not Like Little Brother, But They Are The Same As They Always Have Been

If Little Brother was hugely successful and their music was the absolute top of the line before, then 9th left and it turned to hot garbage that wasn't successful... THEN I would say they fell on their face without 9th. But they're pretty much in the same spot they were before he left, so nah, they didn't. They made good music with him, they made good music without him. They didn't sell alot with him, they didn't sell alot without him.

 it was better than the Listening, but not by much

I didn't know GetBack was off a independent label, I though LB was on a major

They said they were making it more upbeat. I like the laid back sound better. Is it more upbeat than MS?

I thought Get Back was the album of the year. Phonte is the creative genius in the group, 9th just made sick beats. Haven't heard Dream Merchant, but I would bet Get Back's better. Why was Connected so dope?

no. it isnt safe to say. watch yourself.

Dreams and Extrahard is some shyt that 9th would've never made and I honestly dont think he's capable.
I personally thought this album was pretty damn good. If they would've went with 9th it would've been the same repetative snares over and over.
Dream Merchant 2 is proof.

if that was the case then count the OG & 1.5, so this would be album #5

as for 9th, NOBODY talks about Dream Merchant Vol 2...which had the better LB/9th collab

No Time To Chill>>>Breakin My Heart

but Getback was very dope, i was one of the skeptics, especially after And Justus For All, cuz that was a terrible mixtape

how do you figure.....that album was nice son, flowed well, had Phonte and Pooh's usual dose of great concepts/lyricism....9th Wonder made 1 beat that took the cake, but there were other beatmakers on there that excelled.....namely Denaun Porter....his joint on there was

agreed! once again...Get Back was no where near a disappointment to me...still great LB material...and they are even better live...

I said it 1000 time son here. Musically ...the album is dope. I'd give it a 9/10 on LB's standards.
The direction they went in I was disappointed in.

I really didnt miss 9th on getback. ...but its safe to say that they need 9th

Justus For All went hard.
well, a couple songs....definately alot of skip material but it had a couple gems on that mixtape

Big Pooh - One Eleven is the best joint on there
