Beofore i start the tale of the dark
And confess the sins hidden deep in my heart
Keep in mind i was young, and knew not why i fought
Like many others at the time i was a soldier in line
Close to my prime, while some weren't older than nine
I was assigned to a platoon that was designed to ruin
Any tribes or troops that disrupted our groups
The truth is I could fill books with the horrors i've seen
And fill movie screens with the sorrow and screams
At night i would invite what tomorrow could bring
During our hackings and slashings many martyrs would sing
To us we were sure this was a marvelous thing
We were trying to soar, and they blocking our wings
One day our commander syng, said we going to nanking
The march was filled with talks of killing
Our mission was to kill soldeirs dressed as civilians
At the first site of the buildings we readied to fight
Any head in our sights and our machette would slice
For days and nights we killed husbands and wifes
Little kids begged for their lifes, and we severed their pipes
The house fires would ignite and turn dark to light
We did whatever we liked, countless women we raped
After they were defaced, we would set them to bake
The burning flesh would create a stronger feeling of hate
So real awesome and great...we didnt toss in em graves
We simply stacked the corpses on top of the porches
According to sources nanking became a dead amry and fortress
We didn't make the plans, we just simply enforced it...
The cries of the people just furtherd my anger
I was murdering strangers..but strange i felt like an angel
I would stand and chant the sounds of my ancestors
While chopping down kids with quick and bland gestures
My commander would scream, "Show No Mercy!"
Nobody could hurt me so nobody would verse me
Me and my comrads bonded over the violence
In the rare moments of silence we looked at syng for guidance
He spoke of prophecices and fulfillment
But he still always opted out of the killings
Maybe he knew the true dealings...
The stats are incredible..but the images unforgettable
The horror was unquestionable..forgive me my friends
Im glad im going to hell...i wont have to see my victims again
