Gotta love the double pedal, that and cow bell make a song that much better. Joey Jordison to me is one of the "KINGS" of the double pedal.
Please enter and share your appreciation for the wonder that is the double pedal, the faster the better

Similar to what I mentioned in the solo thread, I'm all about whether the stuff soudns good, not neccesarily if it's difficult.

And Joey is tight, but the very first thing that popped into my head was Ray from Fear Factory. I forget his full name.

Generally, the more extreme the metal, the crazier the double bass work will be. Some of those Death Metal bands, regardless of their music, have seriously skilled drummers.

I can't listen to the At The Gates stuff too much. It makes me cry sometimes because It's that good! Hahah! Same with Death and Metallica haha.

I'd rather have someone take a sh!t in my ears than listen to speed metal, sorry no offense to those that like it
Being the fastest or most technical at drums does not make you the best. Having an ear for great rhythms does, and I'm sorry but 500 kicks a minutes is nothing more than noise
I'll take the 1st lesson drumming on Tomorrow Never Knows (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrf_e6g2jxk) over any speed metal song you can link up, and it won't even be close
