Is It Fair To Say Cunninlynguists Are Better Then Wu-Tang?

I'm talking in terms of catalogue, nothing to do with MC'ing.

I'm a fan of Wu, they are certainly revolutionary but I've only really felt 2 of their albums (36 Chambers & Wu-tang Forever) releases after them to me have been pretty much average.

Cunninlynguists IMO haven't declined in there consistent catalogue, have improved album by album.

Wu-Tang are far more revolutionary, had more impact in the game & have provided us with the dopes solo MC's period.

But has Cunninlynguists got there better catalogue?

their last two albums are classic in my opinion, and will rap for food has some classic tracks (mic like a memory, mindstate, missing children, family ties, etc)

Maybe thats why they can't get their shiit distrubuted anywhere, while El-P runs the biggest indie hip hop label around. LOL @ "soul, warmth and musicality". Just cause its got some corny alvin and the chipmonks vocal sample doesn't mean its got soul. Shiit isn't any different to the thousands of wanna be Kanye Wests running around the net. El-P actually has musical arrangements....combines samples with live instrumentation. I mean...I'm not saying his music is for everyone, but El-P gets respect all over music for what he does. Plus it sounds like it was actually recorded with professional equitment, not some garbage ass fruity loops sounding shiit.

First of all El-Producto has always been a ****ty rapper but his production is what saved his career in the 90's but over the last 7 years, he has made less Hiphop music and more trip-hop, techno, rock. In interviews he said he isn't really inspired by Hiphop anymore.

What is funny that you clowns are in comparing EL-P to DJ Kno. Kno has surpassed most producers to date with his production. His sound doesn't stick in one place and expands different genres of music without leaving Hiphop. I've been listening to Kno's production since 99 and his beats then sound better than most beats produced now.
