Cool edit 2.0
Cool edit 2.0So with this version of ProTools will you be able to import through some sort of sound card or what? I mean, $80 is $80. If it gives you exposure to ProTools, which is invaluable, I can't see the harm even if you only can import sound that's already in your computer.

OK the only way pro tools will run is if you have either a digidesign or M-Audio interface. You can get a cheap maudio interface though just to run it. I'll look to see hat the cheapest is. Im thinking the fastrack is the cheapest.

You can get the maudio transit for about $80 which will run PT M Powered but you would pretty much just be using it as a dongle to get the program to run. The recording quality would be not so great to say the least. Might be better than your onboard soundcard though... if thats what your using now.

If you have the Torq you can run a *ahem* acquired *ahem* Pro Tools version. Let me look in the archives and see if I can find something for you.
