GOD rails

I must admit whether I wanted to or not
stay or stray you put up the road blocks
don't get me wrong I know I need it
so when it happens I do not get pissed
especially since it is for my own good
I say Thank You Lord it is understood
hanging in the basement pumping weights
will keep me from falling into dire straits
added to a major slowing of my role
enhances me achieving my financial goal
when the morning comes and I awake
having nothing but a smile on my face
they say that I'm tripping and I just laugh
showed me the way now I'm taking the path
feels good when you are doing the right thing
life falls into place when you're pleasing the King
not allowing what others say or do bother me
got to keep on keeping on is now my decree
when I walk into a room I want to spread sunshine
try and be an example to those with closed minds
my problems are not much of a worry anymore
I just roll up my sleeves and treat 'em like a chore
it bothered me that you I never see or even hear
once I trusted and started to believe it became clear
now I am feeling what has been forever told to me
when they were saying I need to G.E.T. with G.O.D

This is my favorite part! not only because it's what I always try to do in my life but because sometimes I do it without thinking so I know just how natural it is for me.
