Confusion laces my thoughts got my mind racin
Shoulda listened to our mommas when they was buildin' communication
But at tha same time, neither did most of my generation
We hardheaded, and most of lack focus and concentration
Some of us neva took into consideration tha true power of temptation
Musta thought it was fake, fiction like animation
I think most got it backwards, and placed more emphasis on books rather than lifes education
And lost their soul along tha way now they reachin' for salvation
Searchin for tha easy dollar, to some thats jubilation
Dough wit no occupation
Time waisted, palms open for a handout wishin' and waitin'
With this thinkin' our population has undergone an ugly transformation
Instead of plannin for life, we spend more time plannin' funeral arrangements
Its amazin, tha paths our lives take because of worthless conversation
This is my definition of being lost in translation
