imagine building a sand castle
slowly making it's way to the sky
every time you add another tower
it gets knocked over by a passer by
you start to feel angry and rejected
starts happening so often it's expected
that is when it finally starts to sink in
if I don't quit then they cannot win
damn having one of them days
'bout to lap the calendar year
not like I haven't gotten any plays
I be droppin' da ball when I'm in da clear
start to do my dance routine too early
the bad thing about having confidence
if not careful your humbleness gets surly
then the table turning starts to commence
so I'm back to building this castle of sand
though many a times I wanted to walk away
I know that the finish product will be grand
guess that is why I am so determined to stay

Sho u right on dat one, appreciated. May you have a good Thanksgiving also, thanks for peepin' & speakin'. In parting ain't too many blessin' better than Turkey and Dressin', I know that's bad, I'm on this cliche' trip for some reason. Happy Holiday though!!
