I just took a large step...
In that direction where the ending is "I do"
I gave him the key to my castle my safe haven...
The place where all of my material possessions dwell..
Where I come to find solace when the world feeds me madness...
I gave him the key...
I gave him permission to enter as he pleases...
To hang is clothes on hangers, place his sneakers in my closet...
I've given him entry into my most sacred place...
Where I walk loosely without clothing...
I like to air dry you see...
And not that he sees my ability to be feel comfortable in my skin...
He's doing the same thing...
We break bread together....
Pray together...
I wash his back he washes mine...
And without any music...
We are dancing around each other with each step..
My place isn't that big and with 2 it's rather cramped...
But when the time for rest comes and we lay together...
Our bed becomes and island and it's just us...
Out bodies intertwined like we were born this way...
One leg over the other it just fits...
It's like he was supposed to be here all along...
Sharing and preapring to start our life together...
Because soon we will be trading my apartment in for...
Keys to our house...
