that was my tag you heard on the first beat, jay-z isnt part of the beat, i just cut it up so he would be sayin "J-H"

thank you. the only sample on walk alone is the vocal. its some prisoners in the 30's, i put it on beat and then we went in with some real bluesy guitar.

seems like the consensus was to cut back on some of the organ (got that from people outside of here too). I cut it out some, let the guitar breathe and it really changed the track. sometimes i forgot someone needs room to rap on it :laugh:

nah, no need to feel guilty :laugh: the prisoners for some reason on that whole recording are happy as sh*t. the guards are all nice to'em too. of course, thats while the tapes were rolling. there was just so much soul and feelin in their voices i HAD to use it.

the guitar playing is actually my sister in laws boyfriend. i produce a lot of sh*t with him, rock type stuff, and in return he plays on the stuff i need him to. working on releasing our fusion of almost all genres sometime soon.

take em to church is coo, nice drums..patterns are nice too...good sounds, sound like some motivational ish....just tweak em a bit..the organ i think could blend with the main melody a bit more fam...good sounds/switchups

untold story does sound liek some story telling joint...coo ****...nice drums again...good ish with the instruments...keep workin them keys nig

^ thanks man, some better mixing and mastering I think could resolve the issues with that organ sound, i just couldn't resist using the cathedral pipe organ.
