Yo homies, I really wanna master this sh!t in the studio rather than at home. At the studio I have access to a lotta high end outboard hardware as well as some expensive HD/TDM plug ins that I dont at home (I dont have a $10,000 HD rig at home lol).
I cant take up studio time for free (at least on a project like mastering a whole album lol) so what I wanted to do was act as if I have a paying customer.
I figure there's 12 tracks, so if all 12 producers and myself kick in $5 - $10 bucks I can get it all done and maybe a few mix edits here and there.
I can do it at home but theres just no beating the low end bass and loudness I can get with the outboard stuff lol. Its up to you. I can make it sound great either way I just want to make this thing the best it can be. Speaking of which, do you guys have anybody to do custom cover art? I might be able to cook something up. Im proficient and I know a few cats that went to school for art design and can do some crazy ****. It'd be cool to have that and a real track listing with all of the producer credits, mixing and mastering credits :king: and samples listed just like a real CD. Maybe I can get 25 copies or so pressed up (I'll pay for it) and we can send it them to cdbaby.com to sell and everybody can make that $5-$10 back they donated for the mastering.
Oh, I may remix a couple of the tracks and throw them out there as possible bonus tracks or something.
