I know i'm gonna get a lot of backlash from so called hip-hop headz who think they know it all but anyone who is up on there shyt will agree these new rap nyggas coming in the game are coming for some of these so called kingz heads.

If nyggas from the 90s don't start retiring and bowing out the game respectably they gonna get knocked the HELL out. I'm including nyggas like Jay and Nozz because these youngsters aint on that respect these legends shyt.

Jay and Nas are falling off and are OVER-relying on their reputation a little too much for my liking nowadays and I FEAR for their careers but much more for other rappers who have been slacking off in terms of quality and quantity.

how many of you feel me?

Someones gotta make the music, and lets be honest here.....Out of the new generation of MCs/Rappers....who can make good music and still sell at the same time? Wayne and Lupe are the only ones I am checking for these days.....maybe even Saigon and Budden if those two could even get a solid release date. Plus labels are afraid of taking chances and throwing bricks with the new kids.

So-called old school rappers who aren't even 40 yet need to retire, yet these old ass 40 and 50 plus rock stars are still making millions of dollars. Shyts strange to me. A lot of these new school rappers ain't dropping shyt worth checking out, and the ones who are, most of y'all ain't listening anyway.

Let's see....outta the new generation the only MC's I see bein in the game til atleast 2010: Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West, the rest of these 'new school' cats either don't have a deal, a shaky deal, or are just plain gah-bage.......Jay & Nas can stay, I'm still buyin' they stuff

Hip-Hop started as a youth culture. It was created by young people to express themselves and ultimately they dictate the culture. Why is there this sudden push for Hip-Hop to grow up now. Individuals need to grow up. The forefathers and old-school rappers should be moving to the office and taking leadership positions within the industry instead of trying to stay relevant amongst a generation who don't have much in common with them.

Jay, Nas, Snoop, Busta, Bone Thugs, E-40 are all still making better music than the new crop of artists.....

i gotta agree with a lot of the comments made here!!! a lot of the older cats don't want to get out the game & let a younger generation take over!!! a lot don't wanna let go of their rep by makin' a new more grown up brand of music!!!! a lot wanna try & run with the pack!!!! the ones that can't keep up need to fall back before they fall off & try to encourage & mold the next generation instead of hatin' on them!!! younger fans ain't feelin' that old sh!t & older cats need to realize they can't force that old sh!t on them!! it's all just g@y!!!
