I'm not being rude but the truth is you will never look swole just doing push-ups. Let it go and go lift some pig iron. Why do 100's of push up when you can benchpress something heavier with maybe 4 sets of 10 and look bigger quicker?

Because maybe we dont want to look big and do it for muscle endurance not for physical appearance

Push ups = endurance , strength and muscles

Weights = strength and muscles

Some pro weight lifters can't even do 50 push ups. ( Known fact )

Pushups are so underrated. It's great for muscle endurance. I think it's something that should be implemented in just about everyone's workout regimen.

I bet you most people can't even do 25-30 in one go.

Keep at it and do 5 sets of reverse pyramid (ex.15-12-10-8-8-6) or something like that and work your way up until you can do 5 to 7 sets of around 25 to 35 reps per. Don't worry about how long it takes you to get there. You have a long way til May (Beach season)

i been doing 100 plus push ups every day for the last week and i already see and feel the difference. i took a few days break the first time cuz i was sore as **** but the rest i just do it everyday, maybe took 1 day off again.

push ups is the most natural way to build muscle.

lifting weight is stupid imo, its dead weight you lifting, and some overdo it and have health problems. i used to lift and ill never do it again. so yeah, do what you feel is best for you, but push ups are the sh!t, in a few months ill look good as **** :yes:

oh and if you think push ups are not enough youre dead wrong. go try and do 300 push ups within 1 hour, see if you can. its not about how much you can lift its about how hard you can push yourself.

:king:

Do you mean calisthenics?

If so, I would defintely get a chinup bar and the pushup bar (which is seems you already have). I think it's a must actually. Additional to calisthenics, I think resistance training is a definite, so you should purchase dumbbells and workout mat. This is a one time purchase, which you will use over and over and over again.

Actually I do not have time to post a workout for you now. But I promise I will a bit later.
