Is there any foods.. I can eat to reduce the muscle pains. Someone mentioned Bananas. The pain is good because I know Im growing muscle, but it's annoying also. I last worked out Sunday morning.. it's been over 24hours and still feel it.

I work out 3 times a week, so the pain never goes away it seems. Anything helps?

The pain comes from lactate collecting in your muscles when working out. Supply your muscles with oxygen i.e a small cardio exercise after lifting weights and the pain will be gone. The more oxygen you deliver to your muscles by cardio through blood the better the muscles will grow and recover.
I used to lift weights and after i started doing cardio together the muscle growth is faster

I lift on day one
on day two i do cardio

Stops the muscles aching

ive also heard bannanas are good for that...

i agree with the cardio also. ive noticed that if i just lift, i will feel the aftermath more if i didnt do any cardio. i dont save it for the next day though, i get to it after a quick 10 min or so cool down from the weights. then after the cardio session, ill pick up lighter weights and do a set. i wouldnt say im in pain from any of it, but at times i do feel sore.

ive been taking glucosamine for about a month now too, and it could all be in my head, but i think thats helping (not so much for muscle pains, but joints).

bananas or taurine help with pain and cramps
