u gotta start makin calls, call your community phone # and see if they have like business schemes for new businesses, otherwise, its just about writing proposals, sourcing venture capital and maybe take a low interest loan(worst option).

if not, hustle some cd's or a mixtape, and start stackin your bread.

or get 10 rappers/singers, do their album/mixtape, get a bio/press kit, package the cd-r in a cardboard cover(where the cd slips in)pics in front and tracklist on back and sell them sh!ts for $5-$10. Get that money.

Its from the Arts and Culture program and i think they have the same kinda stuff stateside. I'm lookin into gettin money there as well.I looked into this. You basically have to write up a business proposal on why you need funding.

Depending on the discretion of the loan agent.. I highly disbelieve that they are going to give you money to tour, etc...on some hip hop type shyt.

Depending on you scholastic background, honors, letters of recommendation, awards received, etc

They have a certain amount of monies in each fund and ARE particular WHO they give grants to.

Me..I wanted to start up a professional studio to mentor kids.

Have like 20 studio station set up.

Have like akai, roland, tascam etc donate equipment, software..BOOM free studio.

That shyt was overwhelming just finding out what I had to do..not to mention you usually dont get your funding about a year after you get approved.

In the States that is.
