LOL no he didn't. Dame Dash didn't do anything to him, at all. And Star has never backed down from none of these dudes. He was supposedly "pistol whipped" and was on the next day, laughing about the rumor. Dude had it out with Trick Daddy's entire entourage at the radio station, and dared them to see him after the show. "Don't screw face me, as soon as you see me, start poppin off". Even P.Diddy made slick remarks about him saying "No one is untouchable" and Star said "Everyone who works up here is Untouchable", and constantly dared Diddy to do something as well.
And Star basically never gossips.

The only L Star took was with the Wayans bros. Shawn & Marlon made him look stupid on his own show.
Outside the studio for the most part Star is ghost. When he is at events he's madd cool - nothing like his radio persona. That's why he never really got dealt with. But his show was classic.

I've been listening to this just now, and I think that Star and P didn't understand what each other were talking about.
Sounds to me like Prodigy was telling Star that he shouldn't be discussing street crime business on the radio. In the beginning of the conversation, at least. Sounds like he was saying the the threat was more from the people that *maybe* got him wouldn't appreciate him talking about the situation in public, it's not for public discussion.
It's hard to tell because Star is hardheaded and Prodigy is addlebrained.

There was no misconception. P thought by threatening Star that he would stop the sonning. It did nothing to stop Star. Star was talking about Prodigy getting robbed multiple times and of course P thinks it was a diss. Well of course it's a diss...what so called 'thug' keeps getting robbed over and over. Star was having fun with this, and even told P's little punk ass to come on his show to talk about it. Of course he never showed up.

After the Aaliyah plane crash show, with Dame and Jay boycotting Hot97 (allegedly), Star went on a rampage against the Roc. For the rest of the time he was on Hot 97, he made a point of dissing Rocafella. I remember him saying Freeway is "trash", and he dissed Peedi Crakk and the Young Gunz too. He also started more support for Nas, bringing Nas on his show and telling him that "God's Son" would be the first rap album he bought in 10 years.

him and nelly got it in over him callin nelly the "alphabet mc" back in the day. scrapped at a charity event. supposedly it was even. he showed nelly love after that tho.
