I don't see why you have to be a stan if u feel the Surviving the Times track is better than American Gangster as a whole. It's simple. Some people just like the song better than American Gangster. I like American Gangster but there's nothing on there better than Surviving the Times. Dope album but I doubt I'll really be bumping it months from now. Surviving the Times is one of them joints I'll be playin consistently years from now.

and i'm not a huge fan of post 96 nas, and i don't hate jay-z either

but surviving the times is a sick record and if i had to choose between never listening to that song or AG i think i would miss surviving the times alot more
