In 1988, Big Daddy Kane dropped his debut album, Long Live the Kane. KRS-One dropped his second under Boogie Down Productions, By All Means Necessary. Which is better?

The best songs from By Any Means Necessarry were better than the best songs from Long Live the Kane.
However, Long live the Kane was more consistent and By All Means had too much filler.
The best songs from By ALl Means were;
My Philosophy
Jimmy
I'm Still #1
Illegal Business
The best songs from Long Live the Kane are;
Ain't No 1/2 STeppin
Raw
Set It Off
Word to the Mother
Just RHymin w/ Biz
I guess when its all said and done, I gotta go with Kane

Apples and oranges to me. I love both but for different reasons. If I had to go with one it would be Kane, only because I loved that one enough to buy it on CD. I own both on wax and I bought Long Live on CD back in like 98.
