This is a dumbass thread Jay was inspired by the film and wrote his album out like a movie. He related to certain parts it wasn't about him glorifying anything he saw himself in that lifestyle and wrote from that standpoint.

yea i saw the movie and the mob was racist and they were against his progress, so that makes it payback, thats the way russel crowe put it at the end, well if you sell drugs your competitors will try to kill you so obviosuly they deserve some payback too right? so i guess if you snitch on your enemies its okay than right

maybe Lucas finally realized that being a drug dealer wasn't the best thing in the world. moneywise, but look what pain and suffering it brings to those who were customers. Lucas himself never was a big fan of drugs himself, just a business man. and I think it's a better motivation to spread instead to go all Scarface and glorify the crimes
