$300 dongle that lets you open and edit PT projects but not create new projects and record new audio on the go looks wack as fvck.
For the same $300 you could grab the tiny MBox2 Mini and have it all...
BUT if the street price is about $100 cheaper and you can create new projects and import wavs Id be sold because it would be a workaround from having to use the sh!tty digidesign interfaces. You could just record in your DAW of choice with your interface of choice and import it all into PT for mixing and portability from studio to studio.
BUT, I cant imagine digi would let that happen because nobody in their right mind buys digi for the hardware (with the exception of HD users) so making it so you dont need their hardware means that only idiots would buy the 002, 003, mbox or m-Audio gear and theyd lose millions.
They must be doing something to hinder the ability to import full track files.
