I mean Joey is never gonna have they Fame or Acclaim or resume or legacy but in the art of MCing he is just hands down nicer than both these n1ggas.Yes they have both made better albums than him but that was a different time and era.Mood Musik 2 was not a fluke and based on what we have heard Joey do to Ransom its safe to say that no MC can go bar for bar with dude.
Think about it..We have all heard American Gangsta and can you honestly say Jay has shown more lyrical skill on that then what we have heard from Joe in those 2 disses to Ran?????Swagger Jacking Em to set the track off and nas TRYING to sound deep and intelligent......lets face it sohh Joe budden is a better mc than both them dudes and its been that way since mood musik 2 dropped in DEC 05.

Ok, right now at this minute? Yeah... but Joey lacks something that Hov always used and Nas stopped doing in about 2001.
Joey never makes any big records... a song that will attract attention to himself or his project.

as of right now...strictly talkin about mc'in...i agree.
Lets not kid ourselves...fame and legacy aside...we know Budden lyrically is looking better than both right now....and im a BIG fan of them all so i'm not hatin its just is what it is. Budden makes writing look quite easy.

I see more of Nas in Joe Budden than I have ever seen Jay-Z. All of his music is introspective... he never appears to care much about sales and singles, he doesn't collaborate much, what makes him a Jay-Z biter.

that is all I am saying.I am not saying Joe has a better cd than Illmatic or Bluprint .I am saying that as of right now Budden is just nicer than both of them.His lyrical ability surpasses both of them.I am basing it on the recent material I have heard from all 3 Mcs......And lets be really real are we to think that Joey is gonna somehow not go in on Mood Musik 3???.I am more amped to get mood musik 3 than any release the rest of this year.
Again I am not saying he has the better anything than Jay and Nas.Both them Dudes have influenced Budden but right now its not even a question is he nicer.

I think Ghostface (and to a lesser extent Busta Rhymes) aint never dumb down his lyrics or change his substance he still one of the illest in the game, no fabric softener. I think Lupe got more lyrics than anyone out, but no feeling in his music.. T.I. got the all around, and Joe Budden is the closest to having that

Joe been better than Jay for a while now but until I hear MM3 I can't put him ahead of Esco. Nas still hungry and motivated after 16 years in the game he's killed everything he's been on this year from Success, Surviving The Times, Less Than An Hour, Gun For Gun he's still the measuring stick in rap.
