This afternoon (10/24/07), Mistah Fab called up the Rude Jude show on Shade 45 to speak on a freestyle Royce put out over Jay’s “Blue Magic”. In the track Royce takes a number of shots at Fab.After playing the track for the audience, Fab was brought back on air to let the world know that he’s out in Vegas and as soon as he finds a studio he plans to pull a 50 vs Ja Rule (you can decide which he is) ASAP. He claims he’s going to go for the Guinness World record for fastest response and that the world should hear it by tomorrow morning, if not tonight. Afterwards, a number of callers called up to tell Fab to basically “Shut the **** up” and stop “crying”.

Man he was on Shade 45 yesterday and droped the worse Freestyle I have ever heard in my life (and the callers let him know that)! I don't see how Royce lost to this bum.

Although Rocye is clearly the better rapper..... and fab is terrible. But "Ghostride the Whip" is more popular than Royce will ever be. That last sentence should be the only line in Mistah Fab's diss track.

Royce isn't garbage, first of all, but I don't know how the phuck he lost to this guy. I heard it was bad, too. I didn't even see it - I don't want to.

...because Fab's shyt was a freestyle geared toward using punchlines for emphasize (which works for live performances because the crowd doesn't have to think about it).
...Royce's shyt was wordplay which is great for CD's when a n!gga can rewind and catch what he missed. That style , the message takes time to sink in, and a live crowd ain't trying to think that hard.

I couldnt have said that better myself, but Royce also has a huge white fan base cause of Eminem, these white dudes from the East are now coppin pleas on behalf of Royce, the n1gga lost bad just except it.

Saying that Malcolm X is a killer dis track, royce is good battling on wax, but that fab dude killed him in that battle i saw.

for one *****, stage presence, espeically in todays battle scene is much more important than what you actually say...and royce, while he wasnt really spitting at the top of his game was not saying **** that a crowd of dumb *****s could decipher in a minute or two of listening
look at ANY of royces lyrics...i believe royce coulda spit one of his ILLEST 16's, lets say from a song like "ding"...and the crowd would react the same exact way...whoever was being the loudest and more animated is ALWAYS going to win against a better lyricists, which is why i kinda stopped battling, i do not know how to dumb down a line just so i can hear a bunch of dumb *****s go "ooohhhh!", it's more to writing than that, **** is amateur

exactly...now it wasnt royces BEST wordplay but it was not the kind of **** that you can instantly grasp overall, all his rhymes are like that, none of his greatest quotables woulda went over well with that crowd

Plus, I don't hate on the Bay, neither. I got (actually purchased) the last two Jacka albums. "Standing By Stars" was my favorite joint for a minute.

Royce has more skill than Fab. Mistah Fab is a stage entertainer, like dude earlier said Royce does not have the ability to dumb down his lyrics so dumb ni99az can go like "oooooooooh!" in a crowd.
