A poor girl

I feel more at home in a trailer park or poor side of town
Than I do in Beverly Hills
I feel like an intruder
Like I don’t belong
People who have struggled have more heart and soul
It doesn’t matter if your car has dents or you make 8.00 an hour
People laugh for real or offer you a hug the same as they’d give their child
It’s like you’re coming home to things that really matter
Guys might whistle or flirt about what’s going on inside the skirt
But in Beverly Hills the cars are cold
I’m trying to hide the signs that my clothes are getting old
I’m just trying to put two cents together
It’s not easy for us all
I try but rarely get breaks
I never have the right shoes for the interview
But everyday I thank God

the warrior princess, I like the fight in you
the honesty and rawness of this piece is great
showing humbleness, strength, and courage
this is a very inspirational joint to me to say the least
"we may be down but we're not knocked out"
is what this says to me keep 'em comin'
way to get to the point short and sweet
instead of tryin' to make a short story long
I got to keep that in mind when I try

Big ups to a Sister that's down for a chicken wing or two
and not trippin' on the Filet Mignon and lobster biss
"diamond in the back sun roof top
diggin' the scene with a gangster lean"
