I'm not sure. I think some online stores have it now.
I'm not buying it anytime soon. Cost too much. I'll just wait for my uncle to cop it. That's how I got the In a Silent Way, Biitches Brew, Jack Johnson, and Cellar Door boxsets.

Damn you got all those boxsets? I've been wanting to get a couple Miles boxsets for awhile. Which one is your favorite?

The In A Silent Way box probably offers the best listening experience of those four. It's got a lot beautiful tunes penned by Joe Zawinul that never really saw the light of day until the box came out. Of the stuff that didn't make the original album, "Ascent", "Early Minor", "Ghetto Walk", and "Directions" stand out as at least as good as the original album. Really airy and ambient music.
The Jack Johnson and Cellar Door boxes are good too though--only a lot of the material gets repeated (multiple takes on the Jack Johnson and multiple sets on the Cellar Door). Those two boxes are more funk oriented, and the JJ has a lot of blues rock flavor too.
The stuff on the Biitches Brew box is probably the weirdest and least accessible music Miles ever recorded. Straight experimentation with weird instruments, dense and dark--often aimless. It has some really good music on it though, that didn't make the original Biitches Brew album: "Guinnevere", "Great Expectations", "Orange Lady", "Recollections".

I read the biography by Ian Carr some years back but never got my hands on the autobiography. I have read excerpts in the book store.@ Miles calling everybody motherf ucker.
But hold up--you actually have the Family album?? On cd?? Maybe we can arrange a trade.... "Screams of Passion" is my joint!

Well, I've gotten my hands on most of the material from this set. There's some rugged sht on there. On the Corner would've made a much better album had they edited it down and added shorter versions of a few of these joints.
