infinately wise to see ones own demise.. hear the angels cry
dry eyed in sorrow with a heart made of charcol
I once had an affinity to divinity at my opitimy
I could sense there was something left on this earth for me to do
possibly for me in you
could I ever find it in my heart to repent
what I came to say, I knew I'd regret
I lack an abundance of serenity
planned on longevity but it ain't hereditary
and I realise now between heaven and now
mans need of artificiality and will never achieve greatness
to realise this is insanity, never come to grips with reality
live in calamity to always stay mad at me
suck life struggle and grab at me
the longer I live the more this heart caves in
the only time I feel free
when I'm watching the waves break over the sand on a nice summers day
