[Sicilian Spit]

Clip's was more traditional and had a couple good punchlines, but I have seen better. AvK's was creative and he came pretty hard, even though on a rhyming basis he wasn't that ill. The line about the boldin got me laughin though, so I'ma go against my normal standards of rhyme skills and give it to AvK, largely because Clip could do better but also because AvK was original and funny in some parts.

This is an interesting battle. Ecliptik's punches were kinda corny and beat the 'old' aspect of this battle to death. I did like the 'spit fluid' line though, that was pretty dope. AvK wasnt really throwing any punches at all, he was just trying to... well I dont know what he was tryin to do, just outclass you with vocab and condescending speech I guess. And how much of his verse is recycled from some audio he did, your guess is as good as mine, I'd say between 40% - 60% (He once used 100% reused against me & won) so its kind of tough to call a victor...

I liked AvK's verse better, its just that its so thin on actual punches and real heavy on slick talk. So I really got to give it to Ecliptik based on AvK self hypin a lot of his verse... as in...

That didnt do much. Even when Ecliptik was throwin borderline whack punches he was still throwin em. He gets points for activity...

Honestly I was a lil disappointed here Clept, cuz you been spearheading the f*ck the vets movement, I was expecting you
To get in AVK's ass especially since he's more of a poet and less of a battler these days. You had him where you wanted
Him and coulda made a big statement by breaking him down in brutal fashion. Now I like Kent, even tho he used to pick at me
when I was a newb completely unprovoked BUT. . Real talk. ..
AVK is an easy guy to diss and I say that with no malice of course he himself would tell you that.

You did what I expected. I almost hate voting on your battles just because I know people half the time don't get WTF you're saying

Clip's Verse:

Lacked a good amount of hard hitting punches ut hard some good ones....cool personals here there....Alot of old geezers personals but that is what you were trying to project with the whole beef with the vets and newcomers I assume....Closer was nice and current....Overall few hard hits and some should of been more flipped better


Advent Verbal Kent's verse:

Flow was more diverse than clip....a little different from the norm....Your verse tho in my opinion was split...First part had mad fillers and a lot of irrelevant material, Would have been a nice track in open mic.... At about the 17th line is when this turned into a battle with the width line and a personal on clip boldin lines....good stuff



Overall Clip gets the vote.....more consistent punches and disses.... more a battle related verse

i think avk got him here.

clip came way weaker than i ever expected, seriously. that jena 6 lines was probably the hardest line in the battle in terms of a raw punch but the rest of his punches missed by miles.

avk had alot of self-hype with a little filler. but when he was aiming at clip he was hitting. and he did it in typical avk fashion with the sly stylized kind of disses you gotta read twice. i liked the personals too, they were spot-on.

This is a done deal....BUT.

One observations...a lot of yall equate "punches" with winning a battle. That dictates not only how you vote but then what you think the crowd (Sohh) is looking for next time in a battle.

I would just caution that Punchlines are not "everything" in a battle and many of you don't realize what "punchline" is.

Look at Ether...not a lot of "punches" but kills....isht even the rhyme sceme in that is basic as hell.
