So what is the verdict from everyone?

Personally, its close to Up The Bracket. better than The Libertines and better than Down In Albion. Up The Bracket is a classic, so this album will need a year or two to settle, but this is the Pete Doherty we wll love.

Only song Im not really feeling is French Dog Blues, but its still listenable, and fits in well with the album.

Better than FWN? I dont know yet, but after the first 10 listens, its sounding that way. Album of the year is looking good.

I would rate it a solid 9.5/10. Gets better with every listen.

Standouts: Delivery, You Talk, UnBiloTitled and Lost Art Of Murder (although I could have put all of them in this category).

Enjoy.

Soooooooo I finally listened to it and I really really liked it a lot.

Definitely better than their first album. More accessible at least.

I love both albums. But I might give the edge to this one.

This album seems to gel together more. Their first effort was all over the place

That was part of its appeal to me. It was a stressed recording time according to Mick Jones and the band, that comes out in the music. The problem is that you can't do that kind of album twice, so it's good they switched to Stephen Street.

Yeah having Street was a great idea. Although when I first heard, I was a bit
