Neither single is great. Though there is nothing particularly wrong with either song, Jigger has set such a high standard for himself that neither one of these tracks really grips you. They are both kind of BLAH.

You're right I said they weren't bad - in context to the crappy Hip Hop that the world has been getting the last 2-3 years. But in terms of Jay Z singles (and I put him in a different group then say a Talib Kweli or Common single) they ARE garbage. I expect more from him and he hasn't been able to deliver consistantly since TBA. Kingdom Come had flashes but nothing consistant whish is what made Jay so great - Reasonable Doubt to The Black Album dude has been on another level.

Blueprint had Jigga That N!gga, Girls Girls Girls, and Hola Hovito. All of those I would consider "sub-par" still a classic album.

But I don't think "Girls..." nor "Hola Hovito" are sub-par... especially not "Girls..." and that was the one song that I had a red flag about when I saw the title and heard the hook. The way he flipped that made that song official IMO.

See now THIS is the reason I didn't want to get into that "classics" arguement with you. You made the dumbest comment I've ever seen on SOHH. A classic album has NO WACK TRACKS whatsoever. That is what seperates it from a GREAT album. And you're right there are maybe 10-15 albums I consider completely flawless and therefore classic. You'd be an idiot to have a long ass list of classics.
